Abstract
In this talk, the researchers from the VALERIA lab and the Control lab at UGR will present the IFMIF-DONES project to young students from secundary school. It will include an introductory section about the facilities to be located in Escúzar (Granada) and the overall goals of the project. Moreover, the VALERIA lab will be present to demonstrate how virtual reality environments can be crucial for the safe and efficient operation of a research infraestructure as it is IFMIF-DONES. Finally, the Control lab researchers will provide insights regarding the substrate required for controlling this complex engineering infraestructure.
